1. Master the basic of Cabal Crafting
Basically read this guide "Renvers guide to start crafting" and make sure u know how to craft try some.
2. Skilling ur craft
ive allways been crafting the cheapest way to get high unless u can craft an item that u can sell good. on aramid-titanium i crafted vampire/guard or such til 20% after that adept items til i get 60% after that amp items til I got atleast for 1 tryok proof. That way u make most use of your skilling. its a little different for higher parts but basically god thing to start working on the proof items as early as possible since those are the hardest part about crafting and make stuff that u can gain more craft cash from when u can.
3. Fail rate
In crafting 1 of your biggest enemies is fail rate. at some parts fail rate can be above 90%! That means that in average these parts success less than 1 in 10 tries. (Example nonslot clean mystic, mithril) but parts like mystic amp, deathblow that has an failrate of about 50% is not that fun either. One thing that I have leared in crafting is that you should allways have a fair knowledge of the fail rate if u craft an order and also tell that fail rate to your customer. If the customer expects 50% fail on the craft then its ok if they fail a few and then get an success.
4. Max/High result
To craft high result items in Cabal is not only luck! And Im am very sure of it. First of all when you start crafting at low level you maybe success in max crafts (like aramid adept skill xp +4) items like 1 success in 70-100 tries maybe little lower if ur lucky. BUT when ur skill go up higher levels you can more easily craft high results on the lower parts. Atm i have around or close to lvl7 on all parts and I tried a big batch of aramid adept. in 147 tries I got 11 +4 items and 1 slotted +3 skill. Thats about 1 max part in every 14 craft tries or so. Thats a huge difference from when i started crafting. So the higher skill you are the better craft result. This is also good to know if u plan to order from a crafter.
There are also rumors that probably not are true that lucky/unlucky result vary over days if u have a bad craft day it woulnt be smart trying those amp boots and if u start good then craft alot. As said its prob just random but ive heared it from more than 1. And if u do craft alot in a "good day" ur chances are bigger u get smth good also.. (since u make many tries) so might be a psycological twist to it.
5. Success in Proof items
This is a pretty hard topic. Crafting proof items take alot of grinding and luck to make but there are some small tips and tricks to it. First as said above start as early as possible. When u hit 60% go all amp til you atleast have for craft 1 try or you hit that 100%. On the tianium amp/proof part (wich is the hardest of all proofs) the question normally goes for what catalyst to use and such. I started using boots catalyst when doing proof tries that way I could allways keeep fluent cash wise and didnt have to go back to aramid adept grinding. I also tried the rumors about crit rate catalyst but those uhave to seek test urself. In the end it comes down to ur economy and not giving up. This part will be alot easier for gloves and suits inthe future. When the catalyst for tier 2 is in the game you will be able to use the crit rate suits from LS boss to get a crit rate upgrade for sure on ur upgrade (if the upgrade succeeds) This is very nice for those who havent reached next lvl yet. But it will still be hard for helms and boots. Just dont give up. I also allways relog before every proof try I donno if it helps but i cant see it hurting either.
